In the beginning they were separated by an ocean..

John and Hana first met in 2015 when John briefly visited Seoul to see his relatives.  They had many things in common and wanted to keep seeing each other, but realized they had few opportunities to regularly do so since they lived in different countries.  But somehow, and against many odds, they were able to continue a relationship through life-changing promises and sacrifices, some well-timed trips, countless hours of FaceTime, and a complete commitment to each other regardless of the vast distance.

Now they are thrilled to spend the rest of their lives together!
